Hi Moms! It was great hanging out with all of you last Sunday night and so nice to meet some new faces!   I also want to thank Abby for doing such a nice job hosting the event!
A few areas to focus on based on last Sunday's discussion:

• Blog rights have been given to all of you to post your own events.  Note: in order to update events on the blog, you will need to create a gmail account if you don't already have one.    I will continue to schedule the monthly Mom's night out events and monthly kid events for the entire group to attend.   

• Let's create a Sylvan Park baby sitter list!  Before adding someone to the list, please talk to your contacts and tell them about what we're doing.  If they are interested in being added to the community babysitter list, make sure they know that their phone numbers will be given out to all the Mom's.  Please bring your list of baby sitter names/phone numbers to the next Mom's only event. 

• The most up to date roster of the SPMC has been sent out last week.  Again, I encourage all of you to reach out to one another to schedule play dates one on one.  

• The head of facilities from the McCabe Community Center has contacted me about their new pre-school gym activity.  It will be Tuesday/Thursday’s from 10am-10:45am. Right now it will be like an open gym, where parents can come play with their children. In the future they hope to be able to offer a more hands on activity from a staff member.  Since most of the moms in the group work part-time/full-time I have notified her to create some type of event later in the day or on the weekend.

Due to the Easter Holiday, the next Mom's only event will take place in the later part of April.   Please keep your calendars open for a Mom's night out at Local Taco on Wednesday, April 25th at 7:30pm.
